Spiral wound gaskets are semi-metallic gaskets made from alternating layers of profiled metal winding and a soft filler. This construction provides resilience during pressure and temperature cycling and makes them a common choice for raised-face and other industrial flange connections. Styles, winding metal, filler and inner/outer rings are selected to suit the flange and service.
Selection note: Final gasket/seal material should be confirmed against media, operating temperature, pressure, flange condition, bolt load and applicable standard.
