Braided gland packing for pumps, valves, agitators, mixers and rotating equipment in graphite, PTFE, aramid and other constructions.
Braided gland packing is used in stuffing boxes to control leakage around valve stems and rotating shafts. Different fibre and lubricant systems are chosen to balance chemical resistance, shaft speed, pressure, temperature, friction and abrasion. Graphite, PTFE and aramid-based packings cover a broad range of pump and valve duties.
Selection note: Final gasket/seal material should be confirmed against media, operating temperature, pressure, flange condition, bolt load and applicable standard.
